Newly emerging star Porter Robinson has released a variety of original singles on Glamara Records/Massive 808s and Big Fish Recordings. His first single, "Say My Name", was an enormous success, landing at #1 on Beatport's Electro-House chart. Porter has worked on remixes for Avicii, Spencer & Hill, Innerpartysystem and as a DJ, he has toured internationally and performed alongside acts including Deadmau5, Tiesto, David Guetta, LMFAO, Moby, Afrojack, Dada Life, Gareth Emery, Bart B More, Felguk. Also appearing on the Project Blue Book Tour with Skrillex and Tommy Lee & DJ Aero.

On the second weekend of July 2011 I played a show at Moxxom Open Air 2011 alongside Robag Wruhme, Manamana, Steffen Bennemann and many more. It is based close to the german-polish border in deepest countryside of east Saxony. Since my feets are rooted in this area, I know how hard it is finding people who share the same passion in electronic music and getting together to organise parties. That weekend was an other significant example out of rare times, I really had to admit that there are still people in this musically nearly died out area who keep believing in taste of art and music.

The original mix is a mutant hybrid of minimal techno fused with hints of clever IDM, courtesy of Dallas-based electro/techno DJ, Vibelung (aka Jimmy Freer). With Circuitflu, Freer's approach to minimal blends clever robot voices with pounding 808-style kicks and a synth riff that evokes the Knight Rider theme without reeking of irony or litigation.
Francis Prève's reinterpretation of Circuitflu turns up the boom with his infectious blend of techno, gene-spliced with a bit DNA from the better strains of electro. Starting with a handclap-heavy dark groove reminiscent of classic Peace Division, Prève's remix builds to a massive peak that bounces and throbs its way into one of Preve's trademark rising leads. The result is a big room monster that's guaranteed to pack summer floors both at peak-time and after-hours.

The new release is the Octopussy EP by DivKid which is out now on Lung FIller Records. The EP features 9 tracks including the original track and radio edit along with remixes from Dirty System, E-Cologyk, Electronic Beach, Aylen, Tron Sepia, Twsted Bass and Mister Bean.
