Computer Blue - Game Boy (Original Mix)

Is this the end of Computer Blue? Sadly, yes, but the story of Computer Blue has a happy ending which we will tell you about another day. Just look out for something new coming in their place.

Game Boy is the last and only original release that Computer Blue was able to put out before they called it quits. While we would love for everyone to go visit Beatport, iTunes, Juno etc and show some love and buy the release, we are happy to let you know that anyone can download the tracks for free starting today!

Hannes Smith - Do Ideas Have You (July Mix 2011)

MOXXOM 2 OPEN AIR 2011

On the second weekend of July 2011 I played a show at Moxxom Open Air 2011 alongside Robag Wruhme, Manamana, Steffen Bennemann and many more. It is based close to the german-polish border in deepest countryside of east Saxony. Since my feets are rooted in this area, I know how hard it is finding people who share the same passion in electronic music and getting together to organise parties. That weekend was an other significant example out of rare times, I really had to admit that there are still people in this musically nearly died out area who keep believing in taste of art and music.

Here is a little video snippet of my show at Moxxom:

Already in the beginning of this month I dropped another mix on my Soundcloud. I didn't posted the tracklist tough, so I thought to give it to you as a special treatment being an honest fan of my music. Listen - Enjoy

Vibelung - Circuit Flu Package

Press Release:

The original mix is a mutant hybrid of minimal techno fused with hints of clever IDM, courtesy of Dallas-based electro/techno DJ, Vibelung (aka Jimmy Freer). With Circuitflu, Freer's approach to minimal blends clever robot voices with pounding 808-style kicks and a synth riff that evokes the Knight Rider theme without reeking of irony or litigation.

Francis Prève's reinterpretation of Circuitflu turns up the boom with his infectious blend of techno, gene-spliced with a bit DNA from the better strains of electro. Starting with a handclap-heavy dark groove reminiscent of classic Peace Division, Prève's remix builds to a massive peak that bounces and throbs its way into one of Preve's trademark rising leads. The result is a big room monster that's guaranteed to pack summer floors both at peak-time and after-hours.

As Academik's latest release, "Circuitflu" is a double dose of virulent techno.

Here's what some of the world's top DJs are saying about the Circuitflu EP:

"Simple and quirky.. Francis Prève remix for me." - Blake Jarrell

"Francis' remix does it for me." - MC Flipside

"Both tracks are great!! Will play both at different times. THANKS!" - Jan van Lier

"I love this release! Will definitely be supporting both mixes." - William A

"Cool Francis Mix!" - Sean Tyas

"Like the energetic Francis Prève mix." - DJ Ron

Ribbon Tweeter Worship - Headwarmer EP

Deep, chugging modern psychedelic house and electro ready to shake your ass to and elevate your mind with. Not the commercial pop rocktronica thats being passed for electro house these days. With Chris Fortier (_40oz) at the remix controls dropping a huge summer tribal acid bomb for Headwarmer and a tough booty shakin electro breaks remix of Blacktop Beauty by Oilpanic, the Headwarmer EP is a perfect antidote to all the cookie cutter tracks you're already bored with.

Get your summer on lateral thought stylee!
